This was my graduation project and I chose to focus on combining user centered design with intervention design. With food waste being a major problem all over the world I chose that as my central idea and narrowed it to how I can persuade kids between the ages of 12-18 years old to not waste their food. During my 20 week study I figured out that humor is key and that’s why I tried to show them a funny way of not wasting their food.
I used the 8 most common foods that kids would throw away and gave them faces. I also used a font that would reach out to them and would catch their eye. I used one solid quote that would be used during the whole campaign and combined all of this into these amazing posters.
